Quite possibly the most likely figure to encapsulate the Noughties in years to come, Britney Spears returned in full force with 'Womanizer' in late 2008, following a few years of controversy. The song has since gone down as one of the biggest hits of her career to date, alongside the likes of 'Toxic' and '...Baby One More Time'; 'Womanizer' is a dance floor favourite thanks to its hugely energetic nature and undeniable catchiness. The track features a sing-along chorus, heavy synths and a thumping beat - all perfect ingredients key to getting Spears' career back on solid ground. The track set the perfect scene for Britney to return to the top of the album charts with 'Circus' and embark on a mammoth tour throughout much of 2009.
